Immerse yourself in this central city oasis, take a weekday stroll or enjoy a picnic on this sloping, linear, historical park.


Myers Park links the diverse and colourful Karangahape Road with Aotea Square and Queen Street.


This park contains many displays of lovely trees offering shade during the hot summer months including Puriri, a huge Morton Bay Fig, and an avenue of palms.


Take pleasure from Michelangelo's replica of Moses which was presented to the city in 1971, and other such fascinating works.


Pedestrian access is from Queen Street, Karangahape Road, Greys Avenue and Mayoral Drive.

A playground with unique equipment specific to this park, splash pad, accessible toilets, lots of seating and drinking fountains are inside the park.


The splash pad is turned on for the summer and operates seven days a week from 10am to 8pm.


Follow the 4.3km Albert to Myers Urban Ngahere Path to explore some of the inner-cities green spaces or the 5km Karangahape Road to Queens Wharf Art Path.
